Let Songs Arise

Let Songs Arise

Awaken my heart to sing thy praise in the midst of tragedy

Awaken my heart to sing thy grace when pain is all I see

Teach my your plans, Oh Sovereign of all

Dismantled I come, by faith and your call

PRECHORUS:

Arise my heart in light of grace

Arise my soul with a song of praise

For He is good, and Just to see

That in my pain, I bring an offering

CHORUS:

Let songs arise, let praise arise

When songs are far, and feelings cease

Let songs arise, let praise arise

In valley’s low, in stormy seas

On Mountain highs, in rivers deep

Let songs arise

Vs.2

Awaken church, were not done yet
The harvest is ripe, wedding feast is almost set
The King is coming, returning for me
Alas, ‘twill be over, we shall win the victory

BRIDGE:

In the shadows when I don’t see the light

In the stillness of day, or the storms of the night

I won’t forget this mystery that life is found through suffering

Hollywoods Not America

Alright, you heard it here first. Just remember that I was the one to introduce you to Ferras. He is an up and coming 25 year old pop star from California. His hit song will be featured as the exit song on this years American Idol. Get ready folks, his CD hits stores beginning of April. Did somebody say... the next Daugtry!

I love this song! Every youth group in America should be playing it!

Psalm 23

written by: Jonathan Seller

Verse 1.

Waiting by still waters the Shepherd leads

Past the green pastures, into this mystery

He leads me in paths of Righteousness

For His Name Sake I sit and rest

CHORUS 1:

I rest in the pastures

I rest in the valley’s too

For if God’s my Shepherd

Than I can rest

Knowing He is good

PRECHORUS

I believe God is faithful
I believe His ways are best…

CHORUS

I believe in You

You will see my through

The work you began

Is still in the palm of your hand

Waiting, and trusting not knowing your plans

I believe in You

Verse 2

Following the master, he takes my hand
Down the shadow valley, into this unknown land
He leads me in paths of suffering
For His Name Sake I sit and rest

BRIDGE:

For surely, your goodness will find me here

And surely, your mercy will find me here

And surely, your love will hold me here

And I shall rest, and I shall dwell, with you there
